Over the last little while Ace has turned into an escape artist. Today, he got out of his paddock, into the mares paddock, so he could play with Dazzle, the QH that lives in the back paddock during the day.
Bri and Nate got him back where he belonged. Bri brought in Tigger, tha Hackney pony and Coke the half Arab. Then she wanted to bring Ace in, so I said I would help. I had his halter and lead, she had a lead. The problem was a 30 something Appy Gelding called Rocky who does not like to be caught and kept running so Ace would run also.
After a few minutes Ace turned around and walked right up to me and stuck his nose under my arm, go figure. So I haltered him and brought him into his stall.
His vacation is also over, as I am going to be at the barn every day he'll get worked also.
A fun day for sure.

Hoof Beats
Hoof Beats is the official publication of the US Trotting Association.
I got Feb's issue today and it was really fun because the Sire's of both Ace and Duncan are in the issue.
Dream Away is standing at stud at Winbak Farm in NY State. and they have a nice advertisement and picture of him.
Jate Lobell has a very nice write up about what life is like for this 26 yr old Stallion.
Then there is another advertisement for one of Duncan's siblings Electric Yankee who is standing at Victory Hill Farm in Indiania.
He looks a lot like Dunca , a solid bay with NO white and huge stride!!!!
Makes me very proud to know what wonderful bloodlines my boys carry.
